#ScotClimateWeek #LetsDoNetZero

Climate Week is a Scottish Government initiative with support across Scotland’s communities and organisations, celebrating and encouraging climate action throughout the country. It’s happening from 26 September to 2 October 2022.

The campaign aims to inspire organisations to encourage employees, families, communities, customers and stakeholders to discuss climate action and to prompt the important steps everyone can take to help tackle the climate emergency.

Content plan

The Scottish Government have created a content plan for climate week to help plan re-sharing of content directly from their channels, or to inspire you to create your own. Take a look, there are lots of ways for businesses to join in the conversation online.

Edinburgh Chamber and the City of Edinburgh Council will also be sharing helpful content throughout the week, to help inspire businesses and citizens to take climate action. This will include top tips on starting your net zero journey, information on the net zero challenge and exciting examples of work currently underway in the city to contribute to our net zero targets.

There are many ways you can get involved in Scotland’s Climate Week:

  • Download the toolkit with top tips on how your business can help make climate change a hot conversation topic across the country. Scotland’s businesses play a vital role in making this a reality.
  • Share what your business is doing to tackle climate change – people want to know. Use the #ScotClimateWeek banner alongside your message or choose from a selection of imagery covering various topics to prompt a discussion, that you can share online, via newsletters or on your website.
  • Increase awareness of climate change and promote Climate Week by amplifying the messages created by Scottish Government, Edinburgh Chamber and the City of Edinburgh Council.
